很奇怪, 看這部電影時我沒有感受到什麼難過的氣息, 心理總想著... 又是另一部傳記, 法國的傳奇人物每個都來一部, 還不就是賺個錢, 賺個熱淚, 為法國的文化蔓延又添上一筆. 這會看這個 trailer, 反倒眼眶有發熱, 不過也是正常啦, trailer 當然要很有力, 要不然怎麼會有人要去看電影?

電影本身有沒有如此大的衝擊? 與其說力道, 我想強調導演所營造出來的不堪, 那傭長難忍的低級, 舉凡言語侵犯, 肢體衝突, 破碎情感, 身心殘障, 變態性愛, 藥物依賴什麼樣樣都有, 這跟我所知道的 Piaf 不同, 因為我只認得她的歌聲, 當這份認知建立在所謂的藝術上時, 她這個人怎麼樣重要咩? 以這部電影的角度而言 -- 是的, 很重要 -- 重要到甚於藝術本身. "哪有什麼不行? 要不然我怎麼會是 Edith Piaf?!" 我是藝術家!! 我是藝術家!! 這樣的訊息在此片中重複傳達著, 藉著不同的角色, 不同的藝人同樣的吶喊, 到底是在英雄化, 還是唯美化, 諷刺地道出才華和現實之間的衝突, 也更加正當化這部電影所切入的角度, 當然, 令一方面也讓我質疑, 沒有這一個角度, 這個人的 "身存價值" 幾乎是零, 也使我疑問, 少了 Edith Piaf 的招牌, 這部電影到底傳達了什麼? 老實說, 恐怕沒有任何正面的訊息, 最攏統的, 在接近結尾時她不斷強調 "愛", 在這痛苦的一生中, 還不忘加點溫暖, 但在我看來似乎沒有什麼說服力.

換個角度說, 每個偉大的人都有傳奇的一生, 管它是美好的還是難堪的. 剛走出電影院我第一想到的是 "摩托車日記" -- 我不需要認識這個人, 還是可以感受到不同程度的人生層面, 電影本身不需要依附在某個人的光環上, 還是可以是個成功動人的故事. 反觀 La Môme, 如果沒有經歷過那樣的文化時代背景, 光用歌聲怎麼勾起串聯那懷舊情懷? 時間是從兩極往中推擠, 無法控制的舞台, 無法自主的童年, 靠藥物控制的痛, 酗酒玩樂的青春, 總是期待著, 她人生的高峰在哪裡? 輕描淡寫的, 這所謂的高峰總共不到十分鐘. 因此迫使我只能去拆解電影的結構, 剪接, 畫面構成的技巧, 以及演員的投入和專業程度, 所幸這些元素都是高水準的鉅作, 不然柏林影展的獎真的是拿假的..

不過說真的, 如果一部電影只有這些 formal elements 可讚嘆, 我不認為可以造成多大影響.

然後女人做些什麼呢？胡思亂想，然後發瘋，還以為自己佔上風．hahaha... no, seriously, this film is really insightful -- to me, at least. i don't like the poster design though, the strip danse means so little in this film that it should be overlooked. Having it as the dvd cover is not that appealing either, and it does give the wrong idea. 很多電影都喜歡用美麗小姐作為招牌，但沒什麼內容．但這部電影的確是美麗小姐，而且劇情和演技都很不錯，所以若去強調她們的性感，只有反效果．

信仰，最終是最強大的人生力量！因為它超越了愛，也包含愛．
